A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

Hello,

This is Project Four, my fourth big project that I've attempted.

This game is in the loosest term of 'finished' it can possibly be. I ran out of time and energy to finish it and raced to get it done as fast as possible before I physically couldnt anymore. Like, I'm moving to a new place with a less-powered computer, I just straight up cant after a point very soon. The main part works, so, that will have to do for me.

Rushed games are always bad, this is true. But rather be able to play it in some form than not at all?

It is primarily inspired by Voices of the Void (which I highly recommend you play at your earliest convenient time), and features lots of boat-related activities on an open sea, including:

  • Hunting for anomalous signals of various type
  • Day and night cycle
  • A full weather system; if it looks cloudy, expect choppy waves!
  • Fully physics simulated boat
  • The best water I could find for Unreal
  • Swimming
  • Daunting existential dread
  • Yes, it has The Bloop

A readme is featured with the download that features credits and handy information, I suggest you read it.

In writing this, I have discovered that there are various games called Project Four. This one is called Project Four: Fathoms on this page to make it different to those other ones. Sorry other games called Project Four, I didnt actually realize you existed! My bad!

I hope you enjoy this game for a little while! Thank you for your interest!

Seems cool based on the trailer! The one thing is if possible please make a native Linux build, I’ll be attempting to play it using wine (windows compatibility layer).

Let me know how wine goes! I'm spectacularly low on time but I'll see if I can get a Linux build for ya!

Linux builds available! Let me know if they work!
